Clement Jonathan Mazet-Sonilhac

Clément Mazet-Sonilhac is an Assistant Professor at Bocconi University and Research Fellow at Collège de France Economics of Innovation Lab and IGIER
Previousy, he worked as a research economist at Banque de France and visited MIT Sloan under the invitation of David Thesmar. I received a PHD in Economics from SciencesPo, Paris under the supervision of Thomas Chaney in 2022.
His research spans two main areas: technological change and financial intermediation. He blends applied econometrics, structural modeling, and machine learning methods to study topics related to innovation, climate change, as well as poverty reduction. His research has been published in the American Economic Review, Journal of International Economics and Journal of Labor Economics.
